Cloud Service
Calendar data can be stored and shared using the Cloud Service. You must agree to the Cloud Service Terms and Conditions before you can use this service.
User data is stored in Google Cloud Platform Datastore which is based in the United States of America.
This utilises a point in time recovery system (PITR) meaning calendar data can be rolled back to any point in the previous 7 days by request.
Your email address is used as an identifier to enable correct storage, retrieval and sharing of your calendar data from the Cloud Service.
When sharing calendars, it is the responsibility of the user to confirm the accounts of any person they wish to share calendar data with.
We are able to access your calendar data stored using the Cloud Service in order to assist with any issues, such as rolling back to an earlier calendar in the case of accidental deletion by the user. We will not do this without your consent and prior communication by email.
Your calendar data and / or email address will only be shared by us with a third party where this is a legal requirement for example in response to a court order.
You can un-register your account at any time. This will delete all your calendar data but be aware that due to the PITR system, data will not be deleted until 7 days has passed.
Users who do not access their accounts within 6 months will be un-registered and all calendar data deleted.
Analytics
Android app usage statistics may be collected using Google Analytics to improve the quality of the application for future releases. Where this is applicable, the user may disable this option within 'Calendar Settings'.
Advertising
Advertising is provided by Google Admob and may utilise an advertising identifier.
This identifier allows contextual advertising, frequency capping, conversion tracking, reporting and security and fraud detection.
The user may also "Opt out of Interest-based Advertising" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
European Representative under Article 27 of GDPR
We have appointed EU Rep as our Representative under Article 27 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
All GDPR queries from EU Data Subjects or Data Protection authorities should be submitted to eurep.ie via their dedicated form.
